The OZeRES 3 is the latest development in the OZeRES family!
The changes are:
- A new wing with the MS5 series of airfoils which have higher thickness (11%) and camber for greater float time, turn performance and even further delayed stall. This makes the OZeRES 3 a very easy to fly plane.
- The spoiler moved from 37% to 57% of the chord for greater laminar flow and improves cruise speed. This position still meets the Australian 2m ERES rules for spoiler location. We recommend the KST X06H servo for the spoiler servo because the wing is thin in this area.
The slim fuselage will need a 1806 sized motor (available from Performance Models) or smaller, a smaller battery like the 450mAh 3s battery from NextFPV, with a maximum cross section of 21mm x 21mm. Smaller servos like the KST A08 or KST x06 (available from Performance Models) are ideal for the fuselage.
If you are looking to fit larger gear, then the original OZeRES 1 with its standard sized standard fuselage and cruciform tail is ideal (see OZeRES 1 page)
This is a very comprehensive laser cut kit and includes:
All laser cut balsa and ply parts including assembly jigs.
All Carbon spars, L.E.’s and tail boom parts cut to size. The V tail mounting rods are pre drilled for easy alignment.
All hardware and carbon pushrods.
